The choice of feed for goats

The composition of the compound feed is optimal for a certain season and the goals set by the farmer (reproduction, high milk yield, fattening). It is necessary to adhere to the norms calculated for a certain type of concentrate, because this will ensure maximum feeding efficiency.

The composition of feed for goats must contain the following ingredients:

• a grain mixture consisting of wheat, barley, oats - the percentage of each type of grain may vary, but in general, such a mixture occupies approximately 70–80% of the total feed volume;
• protein component - sunflower meal, soybean meal;
• mineral and vitamin supplements - salt, chalk, premix, phosphate.

Received a varied diet, including all the necessary elements, goats give a large amount of milk and ensure a stable growth of the herd.
