The production and technological laboratory exercises full control of the technological process, analyzes the physical, chemical and organoleptic quality indicators of imported raw materials and finished products. On the basis of analyzes of incoming raw materials, compound feed recipes are developed.

Compound feed recipes are developed individually for each client, taking into account the genetic potential of animals, the technology of keeping and feeding. The introduction of biologically active additives, enzymes, etc. into the compound feed is carried out in agreement with the customer.

Input control of incoming raw materials   is carried out according to the following scheme:

• control of the availability of accompanying documents for incoming raw materials;
• placement of raw materials in storage tanks in accordance with the declared quality;
• sampling during unloading from each transport unit, determination of organoleptic indicators;
• carrying out laboratory tests (determination of technical characteristics; zootechnical analysis; toxicity and safety).

Technological control  includes:

• production personnel who carry out the control process in accordance with the existing technological scheme for the production of compound feed and the relevant regulations for the preparatory and technological operations, which define the rules for their implementation and the areas of responsibility of the performers;
• laboratory specialists calculate the feed recipes for the produced compound feeds, taking into account the data obtained from the zooanalysis of raw materials, and transfer these recipes to the production workshop for each produced batch, indicating the place where the raw materials to be used are taken. In the course of the technological process, the quality indicators of the feed are monitored according to the specified characteristics for hourly and average shift samples of the feed.

Control of finished products   is carried out:

• according to hourly samples taken in the course of the technological process in front of the silo where the products are stored. The following is determined in the laboratory: grinding size, the presence of whole grains, the presence of metal impurities, the size of the granules, the size of the granulated grains, the presence of a fine fraction in the granules and grains, the temperature of the granules.
• according to the average shift sample, which is formed from hourly samples. Organoleptic indicators, pest infestation, humidity, crude protein, content of calcium, phosphorus, sodium chloride, as well as toxicity are determined for each batch of compound feed produced per shift; selectively - the content of fat, crude fiber, insoluble ash in hydrochloric acid, as well as safety indicators.
• when selling products, samples are taken for storage and selective verification of nutritional indicators.

Modern laboratory equipment allows you to carry out all analyzes quickly and with high accuracy. Based on the analyzes carried out, quality certificates are issued, which accompany all shipped products.

A library has been organized in the laboratory, where all the used GOSTs and other regulatory documents, methods for conducting laboratory tests, feeding animals, etc. are collected.
